Then you might very well one of those who enjoyed watching Rito’s misadventures as he was introduced to the busty princess from outer space, Lala. Were you also amongst those left unsatisfied by the manga’s conclusion and still want more animated goodness to make up for it? Then read on.
There May Be Some Hope For You
An announcement from Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine shines light on a new animated take on the late “To Love-Ru” manga. It appears that XEBEC will be the studio to take on the task of bringing life to the characters, which will be designed by Yuichi Ouka, the man behind the character design of the other seasons and the various OVAs that followed it. The director’s seat will be taken by none other than Atsushi Ootsuki (of Kanokon and Ladies versus Butlers! Fame), a man you can count to be the bee’s knees when it comes to fan service and pervy anime.
Any amount of good news comes with a catch, however. The form the animation will take on is a mystery to everybody! Why? The announcement left out the information on whether it would be an OVA or a new television anime. Let the hype begin!
