Suggestions

1.) Upgrade vB (to 3.8.5 if possible but the latest one would be acceptable too)
2.) Change ava size to 160x320.
3.) More themes. It's not like there isn't a lot of them out there.
4.) Better smilies.


If you are on an off-shore host I can get you a nulled vB for the first one and a shit ton of themes for the second one but if you're hosted somewhere like America or Britain I wouldn't advise it.

EDIT// I have another. Lessen the amount of characters needed to make a post. 10 charas is too high. 3-5 charas is a good amount.

what you said about my smilies kid? I packed them myself lol. I guess I can download another set, & upload it for TD to put here. You know any good places to get good smilies, if not, I'm gonna pack a bunch of randoms.

As for skins, TD said this is a custom skin, and he gets a load of money or something, people think the site is pro, so they pay him for ads. but I've always wanted a skin selector for this site so we can keep the current or choose ones to our liking.

Oh, I can't wait till they switch the ava size to 160x320, that'll be the most important suggestion for me, and i totally back you up on this one.

I doubt any of this will be followed through though, seeing as how most of these suggestions was asked already xD

More features. Social groups for instance can have threads and you can subscibe to groups you like.

This theme is nice but one or two others would make the forum much better. A lot of forum users like dark themes and without one the won't stick around

Thank you for the suggestions =] I don't really know much about VB as that is all run by Trade, but I can assure you that this particular theme and forum style is in sync with the rest of the website at the moment. I can say from experience that if this site was going to have any kind of revamping it would take a very long time and would need an extremely large and active community for it to be wise financially.

As for the avatars I could see what I could do, but they would not be any larger than the alloted space that is defaulted for the left panel of a post.

As for smilies if sCam can come up with anything more then we could make room, however we don't want the smilies section to become too overcrowded...not many people use them as much as there is enthusiasm for them.

160x320 is a good size and wouldn't stretch the forum. It's the standard size on most forums using the postbit_legacy style (Bit at the side for those who aren't used to the techy terms.)

A forum doesn't need to be completely in sync with the rest of the site. As long as the default theme matches the main site it's fine.

As for another suggestion, this goes straight to TD. Guest were complaing to me(on advertisement sites) that the mod that only lets them see a certain amount of pages unless you're a member. they said that how it kinda turns them away because they can't browse to thier liking and can't really read what we're discussing with that mod on.

I kind of agree, If i was going to join a forum I would wan't to see what it's all about before I join, and not the opposite.

and let me tell you how removing it would help.

Eh I wouldn't not recommend using any nulled VB's. Considering that they are illegal and if caught will more than likely shut down the community unless someone buys another VB license (Which is not cheap). Plus it is basically stealing so you have some potential issues with Gelsoft if they catch you pirating their software since they seem to be cracking down on piracy.
