dO anime films cOunt? "Grave of Fireflies" was a really sad anime film. all about war and how a young boy has to escape and strive to live with his sick little sister.. a very tragic anime..

I just got caught off guard and completely floored by possibly the first anime I've ever seen that I would consider 'perfect': 5 Centimeters Per Second.
It does take on the role of saddest anime I've seen though.

It is not horribly sad, but Bokura ga Ita. Except, it's also my favorite anime...atleast for now anyway.
