Which is the saddest anime you have seen?
For me it's probably Texhnolyze. You won't find many animes with this kind of ending and which is why it's the saddest anime i've seen so far. |

I haven't seen Texhnolyze yet, but I plan on doing so. Thus far though the saddest I've seen is Now and Then, Here and There.

Cyborg 009 tries to pass itself off as an action drama, but I really found much of it sad and depressing (while being memorable at the same time). Sucks how they don't have the whole series on DVD.

Elfen Lied was pretty sad. Shame you can't talk about it without spoiling the story.

I've only seen a few animes but for me Akira was pretty sad in a post war apocalyptic sense...

Yeah it was. But it would have been even sadder if they hadn't rushed to finish it all off in the last couple of episodes.

Now that I think about it you got a point , you got to bikers who were beat friends and as the movie goes on they try to kill each other at the same time you got the world coming to a end.
